Prometheus!

We traveled for many years
in the open space
to reach the planet 
where we thought the god existed.
We wanted
to ask him why we were abandoned,
to plead him to give us the potion-
to kindle the fire within us forever
The gods that we encountered there,
were sleeping with the sign,
"do not disturb",
with production of oxygen,
blood and DNA,
in auto-mode.
We could not resist,
and did what we always do-
we destroyed the peace
and woke up our gods.
They got disturbed,
became confused and enraged,
The sleeping gods had then turned into
The raging demons.
We all cried,
Prometheus, Prometheus
where are you?
Alas, his abode was many light years away,
on another planet named
Earth.
